My favorite TV series
My favorite TV series is Nirvana in Fire.（Its Chinese name is Langyabang）The story took place in Liang Dynasty,with frequent war in Chinese history.The main character ,Lin Shu,used to be a young General.After a bitter war in his 19 years old,all of his families were killed unjustly.He survived,but his appearance was changed entirely,including voice and behavior after the painful treatment.Lin Shu have to changed his name to Mei Changsu and could not be recognized by any one,even his best friend,a Prince.It was said that Mei Changsu was so excellent that, someone helped by him would succeed to become the Emperor in his nation.He did.He accompanied and helped his best friend,who stayed true who he was but considered impossible to succeed,become the Emperor,without being recognized as an counselor.
The process is very hard.As an counselor,Mei Changsu had to bear discrimination and irony from others,from his best friend who did not recognized him,even from himself.Mei Changsu struggled to clarify the grievance of his family and make his nation more powerful,although his body was very weak.He said Now that I survived,I could not live in vain.I must live ,on behalf of all the people died for saving me.（There are 70,000 soldiers dying in the bitter war in his 19 years old,including his father.）It is for this reason he survived and never gave up.
In the end of his life,Lin Shu decided to take an medicine,using his life to exchange for three months,during which he can fight with invaders in the battlefield,just like when he was 19 years old.He said I had been Mei Changsu for 13 years.In the last three months of my life.I wanted to be back to Lin Shu,do not I?
Lin Shu was full of passion and vitality,while Mei Changsu is weak and can only use tricks to achieve his goals.Mei Changsu was Lin Shu and Lin Shu was Mei Changsu.But Lin Shu hated to be Mei Changsu,a crafty counselor.So he chose to died as Lin Shu,the excallent young General.He chose to died as a soldier,on the batterfeld.He chose a glorious way to died,fighting to the invaters and defending his nation.
Lin Shu fighted untill he died.I believed that dying in the batterfield is the best ending for him,a blooded hero.

It's look an interesting TV serie with wars and fights for the power! I have never seen a Chinese tv serie but if you tell me that it's also available in English I can think about watching it!!

DeleteI really like the old culture of China (Maybe every old cultures of all nations). However, this drama's images are look so quality. What I think is when we focus on essential points that is our own thing, and mix with new thing, that can be better, not imitate. This TV series look it was made based on Chinese culture, the history and used the new fresh points such as supernatural medicine so that it could be more fun than other TV series that only use just historical fact. I mean is some drama that contain only cultural thing also can be enjoyable contents for viewers, but when they put new or hot component that is just found these days, that could be more fun. Because most of people like experience new thing always, the new movie, the new cosmetic, because for me, the mean of "New" is latest thing. Every life want to grow and grow like plants are always grown looking forward sunshine. So that for me, the one of the reason why this TV series grab an attention from many viewer is the mix of their own unique culture and the latest components. However, in S.Korea it has been populated to use supernatural point in TVseries also. I watched one TV series to the ending too. That was fresh because of the unique factor of supernaturalness. I want to say, first, I can know you really like watching the TV series because I sometimes see you was watching the TVseries (probably..!), Second, China's history, the traditional clothes, the specific atmosphere are really unique, and I hope not only China but also every country focus on developing, keeping their own tradition, history, culture.
ReplyDeleteI agree with some of your points,but this kind of TV series is limited by the theme of history and most based on fact.Besides,I do not think there are something supernatural in this drama,because all of things in it can happen in the real life.Producers may used the latest techniques,but it almost impossible to use supernatural point,because it is not a fantasy drama.

ReplyDeleteYou know what now I understand why you think HuGe is handsome.But I have to say this series is a mess for me....I cannot distinguish he is her child actually he isn't her child but everyone think he is her child even she doesn't know weather he is her child or not....
